This is pretty much the take that I have. The pieces are there on the field. I am still unsure regarding Sloan, and I am pretty sure that Davis is not good. But - better execution and continuing to improve with better execution and more consistency will give us a chance to beat everyone remaining on the schedule. Will we? I do not know.

yeah we would.

but those things happened

There was a lot to like about saturday, but we consistently shoot outselves in the foot

we have to get over our own dumb mistakes.

I don't know what to tell you. He played like shite Saturday. He plays like that again this Saturday he's going to lose on the road. It's really that simple. I don't think it's really hard to understand. This offense has shown minimum improvement since the beginning of the year.

Teams are suppose to continuously improve as the season goes along. Every game this team comes out poorly prepared with the exact same problems. It's the definition of insanity. You keep doing it a good team is going to take advantage. Vanderbilt is better than SC. Much better in fact and it's on the road. It already happened once against Ole Miss and they even tried to shoot themselves in the foot like LSU.

If he doesn't significantly improve fast LSU's season probably ends sooner than later. Likely, he's not going to improve significantly. He doesn't have the injury excuse anymore to back up his poor play. He still played like crap Saturday at home coming off a bye week against a bad SC team.

Is it Burger King, Butter Kreme or British Knight?

BK9.9 has made too many "Bad Hires."
He tolerates incompetent position coaching on his Staff.
He "Doesn't Care About Uniforms."
He is not a good fit at LSU.
He is not a real Tiger.

Many LSU fans are already over or very close to being over BK at this point.

CFP or Bust at this point in Year 4!

Fumbles, Interceptions and Drops are all part of playing a football game.

They're a normal part of EVERY game.

You can't take em back.

There is no perfection.

Just COACH THE ATHLETES UP and keep the mistakes to a minimum. (This is not happening on the Offensive side of the ball currently)

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

It didn’t happen. Moreover, it’s on par with other games played. It’s the way it will continue.

Let’s just say he doesn’t fumble and that close you would think a TD so now it’s 27-10 and without the INT in the red zone I’ll be pessimistic and say FG there the game finishes 30-10. Would that have made people forget all the struggles against a middle of the pack SC? And other than a couple uncharacteristic missed tackles SC may have only scored 3 points. If anything it showed me how legit the defense is for sure. Westin Davis is still a liability though. Will have to chip to help him against Bama

And we won with that happening, CBK has just said if we clean that up we’ll be alright. Coaching has nothing to do with those mistakes. Every top team wins ugly. Ohio State beat Texas 14-7 with Arch’s first road start and played like arse. If we beat Vandy ugly I don’t give a ratsass as long as we move to 6-1. Let errybody take their shots, winning solves it all. Ugly or Beautiful it all counts the same.

We were probably 3 plays away from losing to Florida too.
We shut Florida out in the second half and picked off Lagway 5 times. Our defense baited him into most of those, we didn't just "luck out."

He fortunate both fumbles fell right back into his chest.
Instead he didn't lose the fumble.

Had they picked that up and possibly ran it back for 6 would've tied the game up worst case scenario. He played like shite against SC.
You're imagining hypothetical scenarios to match what you want to see, all to get yourself worked up. It's sad.

I think you are right for the most part, but he is right about this. Nuss has been a turnover machine, and it easily could have been worse.

I understand that but we’ve spent half the season trying to clean up the same mistakes we make every game.

Makes me more than a little skeptical that they will suddenly get cleaned up now.

There were a lot of positives to take away from Saturdays game. Does that mean it will pan out? No. But there were absolutely things we saw on Saturday on offense that we had not seen so far this year.

So if the three biggest negative plays don't happen, we would feel better about the game? Is there anything that leads you to believe we have the capability to cut out the negative plays on offense?

OMG, Its impossible!!. Go look at Bama game 1 vs FSU and how they are playing now...

I love how our fans just "assume" Nuss was better. Still threw for 59% completion with 2 TDs and 2 Ints.

So now. Nuss didnt do WAY better. Way better would be 67-70% completion with 2 TDs and 0 Ints.

2 handoffs to Kaleb Jackson on the goal line and it’s a 34-10 final regardless of everything else. Jack Pyburn plays 2 snaps at FB instead of Sharpe and that probably gets you the 2 scores as well.

Fair. But you can’t deny what I said! No doubt we would have had a lot more grace! It is what it is.
