Wade inherited Jones mess. McMahon inherited Wade's mess. McMahon had the advantage of the no sit out transfer portal (Wade did not when at LSU). Wade accomplished much, much more in his first two years at LSU than McMahon. Advantage Wade, IMO.

Wade went to McNeese with more baggage than he left at LSU. He could not recruit off campus, he had a 10 game suspension to begin the season, and a 2 year show cause. Wade took McNeese to the biggest one year turn around in NCAA history. Wade also handily beat Nicholls St. 3 times in the same year. The same Nicholls state that beat LSU on LSU's home court. McNeese won it's conference regular season and tournament championship with a NCAA berth. Advantage Wade.

McMahon did a much better job coaching his team this year than in his first year at LSU. But unless he ups the talent level dramatically, LSU will not be a contender for the top half of the SEC and NCAA tournament entry.

Play it in the cow barn. Good nostalgia.

Will wade actually did lol . McNees didn’t have but one returning player . Also the dark cloud was following wade not necessarily lsu . So another idiotic post trying to down play how good wade actually is .

I’m looking forward to watching . Good tourney experience. A little NIT run, 9-9 in a tough SEC. Played better, upset some teams, and lost some when they shouldn’t have.

Next year, get more consistent and let’s see.

Well said. You summed it up perfectly.

If LSU takes the home game, I hope fans will come out in support.

He’s never coming back. Pull for LSU or do a better job sucking off Wade to move closer to the top of his list.

I’d be surprised is Washington plays. They just fired their HC. They probably just want to move on to next year

While you are correct about WW, one thing you have to include is one is playing in the SEC and the other is playing in the SLC.

So, if A&M makes the tourney which it appears they may, would we have made the NIT anyway? Or would we still have had to have Ole Piss opt out?

I am convinced some of you are just Will Wade fans and not LSU fans.

No matter what you think about his dismissal, he’s not coming back. Move on.

I think A&M may have just gotten knocked out of the NCAA Tournament by NC State
