the traditional jerseys will always be my favorite. However, I'm ok with the different uniform for one game a year, I know the players get juiced about it and I'm guessing our younger fans and students do too.

I need to see it on the field before i judge. I like having the bright purple more dominant on the field. Not sure about helmet yet.

It seemed like they wanted to go all white, and it just doesn't work with a gold helmet. You either have to go with a white helmet or purple helmet to make it work, and they decided to try something new. I like mixing it up once or twice a year, so I will reserve judgement until I see the team with them on.

Those jerseys were bad...stripes are awful.
these are great...but the pants need to have the same color striping as the helmet and jersey.
We could do a purple helmet...what they show here isn't a purple helmet. It looks like some crazy hologram sticker for some middle school girls trapper keeper.

I love our traditional white home uniforms, but I actually think these are appealing for an alternative kit. Will we wear them against MSU?

keep the jersey and pants, and go with the white helmets with normal LSU decal. All white would be a different look without looking stupid. Give that metallic purple to a SWAC team.

I'm kind of a uniform nerd, and I'm also a traditionalist.
That being said, I like when we wear alternates...so long as they stick with our basic design (striped helmet, striped jersey, striped pants) and use our colors...either in the form of old gold or Green Bay gold. If we'd use what we have, we could have three different color helmets, three jerseys and three pants...and you could pair them in various ways that would be different for the guys than only wearing the same thing most games. You could even toss in a throw back uniform every once in a while.
You don't have to throw it all out and go full on Oregon to have a great looking alternate uniform.

I love our traditional uniforms, and think they are one of the best anywhere. That said, if we can pound Bama like we did Georgia, I wouldn’t care if they were wearing purple and gold plaid uniforms.
