LSU is 7-2 with a very good chance to finish 10-2 and make it to either the sugar or peach bowl. Why the hell are you so salty?? Did you really think LSU was ready to win a national championship???

You know how many teams would kill to be in our position right now? We’re still a very good team. Relax.

Kick coverage was never an issue for LSU teams...Good pick up but let’s not act like what he does takes great coaching.

So you clearly havent watched any kickoffs the last 5 years.

For Busch, all the other safeties have either regressed or shown now real improvement. Battle has been awful this season. Delpit has been great but one player improving while the rest do nothing doesn’t really make a case for Busch. Jury is out on him but it’s not looking like a great hire.

Oh. My. God.

OL players that we’re good last year have been awful this year

Literally a month ago we were praising the patch work job with injuries and such. Lose a game to the best team in the country and now the guy sucks. Awesome.

Sullivan is a big name for nfl coaching but has done little outside of Jefferson

So making a 3 star recruit that had 2 D1 offers into our go to guy just gets overlooked? Here's a thought, maybe all of out upper classman WRs just arent that talented.

It's weeks like this that I feel like this fan base is too stupid for it's own good.

It’s really unbelievable! It’s just insane how quickly they turn on a team. You people are fricking embarrassing. Get it through your peanut sized brains, LSU is not Alabama. That doesn’t mean LSU isn’t still a good, stable program. Y’all realize at the end of this season LSU will be the second best/second highest ranked SEC team behind the greatest team of all time?

Maybe in past experiences. I've seen nothing but drops and poor separation while here.

Reminds me a lot of Mettenberger's first year with Landry and Odell, not as many drops as that year but close.

Receiver play hasn't been where I'd like it either, but they're undoubtedly better now than they were last season. Guys like Anderson and Sullivan were useless last season, and have shown some worth this season.

Robinson? Fail on recruiting trail and mediocre at RB

Busch? Juries still out but Delpit is only real selling point

McMahon? Return game has been horrid and Tracy needed basically no coaching

Name one above average hire by Orgeron since he’s been hired?

Its ok to hate Coach O but at least give credit to units playing well. What a clown post

Retaining Aranda would be considered a hire and was huge.

No.

Plus, the way we retained him was not some sort of miracle or ideal about building a program. We literally broke the ceiling on Assistant pay for Aranda to keep him around. That isn't some kind of smart, inspiring move that convinced someone to stay.

Too soon to say that. Our Oline talent is no very good. One of the two best got suspended, constant injuries with others.

O isn't responsible for Canada. O didn't really wanted Canada. That's on Alleva.

Yes, special teams this year are very good. But also remember that O gets credit for AWFUL special teams last year.

Keeping Aranda merits little credit in my book. Both o AND Alleva HAD to keep Aranda to keep their jobs and we paid through the nose for it.

What are you even talking about? We only ever play 2 safeties at a time and one of them has turned into one of the best safeties in the country. Our 1st backup, Todd Harris has been solid when he has come in. Eric Monroe has been hurt all year. Who hasn't improved or played poorly? Battle is the only one, and he has never been great. He wasn't going to become some all conference player going into his 5th year.

Busch has been here one year, so yes the jury is still out, but to say all the safeties but one have regressed is ridiculous.

Credit? How about 2.5 million and more than double his pay to stay?
Aranda was gone and we bribed him with $ to stay.

A minor miracle would be having a middle of the road OL.

We have a bottom of the barrel Ol. I find It hard to believe someone else couldn’t havecoached this team into giving up all those sacks.

I’m on the fence about McMahon

We came out of the gates looking like we were gonna block lots of punts this year and we haven’t gotten to one, which I get Isnhard to do, but when you return like 3 punts all year it’s sorta not great. Also Giles has made questionable decisions fair catching some balls and letting some roll 20 yards butnhes been better of late.

Our punting has been ok. Mostly because Avon Rosenberg has a boot.

Getting Atkins is huge and he deserves much credit.

Tracy cole is a recruiting win but a coaching push. He is a plug and play 5thnyear kicker.

So idk.

Better personally. Our returns have been non existent.

Ironically, Les Miles was accused of being 'Larry Coker' once upon a time.

Les Miles turned out to be extremely successful.

Ed Orgeron, at least thus far...

Aranda was a huge save but lets be real, Aleva kept him on the team. Aleva is very unpopular on this board for good reason (lazy hires) though he has came through on a few big tests ie Aranda and Fulton. Oregon hasn't made one great hire yet, he honestly may just not be smart enough to evaluate coaches.
