Considering how bad this team was supposed to be this year, I'd say he must have done something right.

After all the bitching and complaining you idiots did in the offseason about how we were going to get our shite pushed in this season with this schedule and all these underwealming coaches he's hired, I'd say he nailed them all. They are producing more wins then we've seen at LSU in 5 or 6 years but they aren't any good?

Most of our players are first year players. We've gotten more out of less but our coaches suck? Make up yalls damn minds. Our STs is kicking arse, WTF are you talking about?

Our offense could be better yes. I agree that LSU should probably hire a young gun OC who has an innovative offense. We could probably do a better job than Joseph but that's about it. We might want to also go look into a real deal DL coach who can coach them up and recruit at a high level. LSU should be sparing no expense.

Arandas kids were a bigger impact on him staying than Orgeron by far

Anyone with any sense knew this team had the talent to be very good.

The only reason people picked us to struggle was because of a supposedly brutal schedule and a lack of faith in O.

Turns out Miami and Auburn suck.

We played great against UGA and shitty against a shitty UF team (Mullen’d again), and played our worst game against Alabama since 1/9 (honestly it was even worse).

Schedule worries were wrong, O worries were not.

They never were really behind the team. They were just waiting for their chance. They smell blood in the water and they're going to wring every last mile out of it that they can. The good news is there's no going back after this. When LSU finishes out the season with a decent record and a decent bowl nobody will want to hear anything from them.

Canada? Fail

O isn't responsible for Canada. O didn't really wanted Canada. That's on Alleva.

Canada is an Orgeron fail, the only question is what exactly the fail was. Either he let himself be bullied into hiring him, he didn’t properly evaluate him (actually the most difficult thing to do so most forgivable), he hired the guy he wanted but wasn’t patient enough, or he hired the guy he wanted but wasn’t able to work with him because of personality reasons.

All of those are a fail of one sort or another. I personally think Canada was a good hire and firing him was the fail. But I don’t think Orgeron has done terrible otherwise and I am in no way enamorred with him.

So O doesn't get credit for the wins? At this point I'm convinced that you're just a shitty troll. Nobody is that fricking stupid.

I gave him credit for UGA in my post.

But no he doesn’t get bonus points for beating what were clearly highly overrated teams in Miami and Auburn.

He also takes blame for losing to Mullen AGAIN and Felipe fricking Franks.

And of course the worst performance against Alabama since 1/9 AT LEAST.

Let’s flip your question, does O get blame for the losses?

He ruined a lot of goodwill with that shitty performance man. I know it doesn't sound fair but you cannot have that level of performance vs UGA, then have that putrid of a performance vs Bama, when you had 2 weeks to prepare.

All games aren't the same. UGA counts but Bama counts more based on all of the factors.

That's the way it is for all coaches. It takes a while to build up a good reputation and a single game to ruin it.

Great question...and fair...

While I think the game plan and execution has been very good. Individually all hires in the review mirror are underwhelming.

Collectively though the results have been pretty darn good.

Interesting.

Cant really argue with any of those grades. Id add meatball has not done much on the DL in recruiting and overall performance.

Creggs? Fail
You mean Cregg? Juries still out on him. They did perform acceptably well against Big Boy SEC team Georgia.

Name one, just one OL coach that could do anything with this bunch?

I'll give Cregg a little more time, but he has to significantly raise the OL recruiting standards......

WTF? You have been badmouthing coach O nonstop since Saturday. You should probably take a break. You honestly don't think that you've gone too far?

We been saying this for the last 3 LSU Oline hires. Is it the talent or the Coaches hired to make them better???
