Wonderful !!

And I hear his mom says back at LSU.

More than anything we will enjoy watching him play for one last year.

"More fun". .Blake Dean retired from baseball at a time he was still playing well & moving up the ladder towards the Show. He said he found the minor leagues boring, attendance & travel-wise. Said there was no comparison to minor league games with games at The Box.

Getting a proven superstar back is way bigger to me than any portal pickup, short of an Skenes level starting pitcher.

Shocks me, but I’m loving this news.

I don’t think we have enough money for DC as he’s going to get way more from draft. Brown is a very slim chance, very slim.

He will get as many mulligans as he wants if he keeps winning titles every few seasons.

So you think if he were to have 2 more years just like this one he would be okay?

Him and Park get first shots at 2B and 3B. Not really an issue.

Braun- 1B
Ruckert/ Curland- 2B
Milam- SS
Park- 3B

Is a pretty loaded infield.

In between Championships sure. When has Jay ever had b2b poor seasons? Why are we even being negative right now?

Surely LSU must have offered a pretty NIL package to get him to throw his leverage away. Idk what he was projected to be drafted at but if the signing bonus he was projected to get and his offered NIL deal to come back were similar then I guess it just comes down to wanting to play SEC baseball another year rather than the minors which I'm sure is more exciting.

Curiel and Brown are probably projected to get much higher signing bonuses so idk if LSU will be able to make similar offers for them. Although Curiel won't lose leverage by returning, but risking his draft stock as high as it currently is, if he gets injured or something is still quite a gamble. I'd be really shocked if either of them returned.
