Maybe, Bianco pulling his name from consideration means someone told Woodward yes.

LSU obviously has a good relationship with Bianco. Maybe Woody told Bianco someone has accepted and gave Bianco the chance to take the high road.

Godwin is a better fallback anyway. I can’t imagine him saying no if offered. No need to jerk Bianco around. He’s not the best coach, but I have nothing against the guy.

Generally frowned upon to sign a contract when you are currently under contract with another institution; could be considered breach of contract and trigger damages clause in original contract.
Secondly, do we really want a coach willing to secure a new job and negotiate contracts when he is in Omaha supposed to be currently committed to his teams success there?

Come on Woodward! Go get Corbin and begin another dynasty at lsu! His success will pay for the contract for sure. He's worth it!
