I rewatched the FU and Old Piss game and noticed that, on the crossing patterns, the receivers had to reach behind to catch the ball.

There were times when there could have been long run after catches if the pass would have been in stride.

I'm sure that will improve with more reps. Hopefully sooner than later.

You make sure to email that to Jake Peetz.

That is what made Joe B so good. Run after catch was huge on many completions.

Max is perfect in every way and if something didn’t go right it’s everyone else’s fault…

His Dad is a Super Bowl winning QB. Wonder if he is paying attention to these very fine, subject matter expertise details as well?

@ #6 UF - 21/36 239 yards 3 TDs — 18 carries 52 yards

vs Ole Miss- 27/51 435 yards 3 TDs 1 INT —14 carries 45 yards 2 TDs

Literally his first 2 starts ever as a true freshman and he lit it up but your not happy about his ball placement

He also didn’t have Jamar Chase, Terrace Marshall and Arik Gilbert. Also TDP and Emery were hurt

And his Oline was 85th in sacks allowed.

Kid passed his first few test with flying colors. Sorry he didn’t hVe tom Brady accuracy though

While to an extent I agree with you, but in relation to true freshman QB's he far better than most, especially considering the practice time he missed out on.

The speed of the game is a huge adjustment for quarterbacks coming out of high school, especially throwing to receivers all with elite speed that go across the middle without hesitation. In high school, not only are the receivers nowhere near as fast, they tend to be tentative running a route across the middle.
