How about our 3B not make that stupid decision and it’s still 2-2 going into the ninth

How about you leave Hilliard in and there’s no base runner going to third because he doesn’t walk the 2nd guy he faces.

Hilliard had 0 walks yesterday? Just insane we took him out... Coleman came in and walked 3 in the 6th on his way to giving up the tying and go ahead run in that inning

Striking out 400 times — ridiculous— not being able to identify an off speed pitch— that’s on the hitting coach. Also knowing how to hit with 2 strikes. Cream rises to the top.

I don’t know about an apology but it was an absolute waste of a brilliant pitching job by Hilliard.

PM sends him back out for the seventh while he’s cruising, nothing is certain, but I like our chances to win that game 2-1 with Hilliard or a combo of Hilliard-Fontenot.

There was no need to bring in a long reliever to start the sixth.

For what????? Could you do a better job????"

I disagree with OP;however, your post is foolish. You don't need to be able to outperform someone just because you have a criticism of them.

Not only not tired, he was pumped and feeling it after the 5th.

That's a guy you ride at minimum a few more batters.

What?????? It’s a bad choice for people because we lost the game after he went out… but knowing LSU fans like I do, If he would have been left in there for a third time through the lineup and got smoked you would be complaining he was left in there too long….

That’s what people are saying.

He was pulled prematurely, they could have rode him for a few batters. If he ran into trouble, then pull him. But he was dealing and got the hook in mid stride. Big mistake and cost them the game

That has been the case for the last 5 years. He repeats this over and over game to game. It's not new.

Hilliard was dealing but he started to let his off speed pitches sail. He knew it was time to change. Good coaching, we need more runs is all

Pulled Hilliard after going through the lineup twice. Hitters tend to improve drastically by their third time seeing a pitcher.

I have no issues with the move, and phenomenal job by Hilliard.

Agreed, but in a pitchers duel, it's a different story.

This is all BS from stupid fans. Hilliard wasn't finishing that game. Coleman gave up ONE run in his first inning. It doesn't matter if it happens then or an inning later. BTW, same fans who were having a cow that CPM was pitching Hilliard in the first place.
