Unless Hilliard went to him and said he was done, absolutely.

Nah he’ll just blame Coleman.

I think Hilliard had another inning. Does the team apologize for striking out 400 times?
Just curious.

Yes but I highly doubt that’s the case . Hilliard just struck out the batter to end the inning and was pumped coming to the dugout. This is as bad of Paul move as I’ve seen in his coaching career

Coleman pitched fine. If Doughty gets an out in the 6th inning, we're still playing.

And what happens when he gets an extra inning from Hilliard, and Coleman comes up in the 7th? Is Coleman Sandy Koufax all of a sudden?

The stage was too big for Coleman and Tennessee took advantage of it. No reason to pull Hilliard. He had a few more innings in him. It’s the god damn post season. WTF are you worried about pitch count for

Absolutely! But if you were watching the same game that I watched the Tennessee pitcher was getting strikes called for the same locations that we were getting balls called

If Doughty throws the ball to first, the inning is different, period.

Coleman wasn't the issue
