A Virginia man is facing criminal charges after police say he taped his wife to a chair in their basement so he could watch football without being interrupted. According to WTVR/CBS 6 Richmond, 64-year-old Terry Ward was arrested and charged with abduction.
Richmond police responded to the couple’s Maplewood Avenue home near Byrd Park on the night of Oct. 11 after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigators said Ward’s wife told officers she had been tied to a chair with tape in the basement.

No charges for him. Disturbing the peace for his trifling wife.

I feel like this is on the spirit of the rule of thumb laws allowing you to correct your wife with a stick as long as it’s smaller than your thumb.

For me to give a final verdict, I feel like I need to know what happened immediately prior to the roll of tape coming out

If he was smart he would've converted the basement into a man cave and locked her arse the frick out.

She obviously didn’t take this sitting down, and you better believe she’ll be sticking to her story.
