Pitching Hillard in a non elimination game on short rest was very dumb, and I said it at the time so this isnt hindsight

A slim chance just got thin as a sliver.
We gonna need to not have to pitch Cam Sanders in game 1 or game 2....and have him have a great start which I'm not sure he has had yet at LSU.
I mean we are going to have to have everybody have a good game when it comes to pitchers this weekend.

I mean this year really was out of LSUs hands it seems
Lose Walker, your best starter on paper coming into the year
Then you lose Hillard, your best starter once the season started
You also lose your shortstop and arguably top player in Smith

That’s unreal. The Hilliard thing is just unreal and a pretty large screw up on PM’s part.

To win the regional in the most optimistic way, we need to get 27 innings out of:
Hess
Bush
Fontenot
Peterson
Beck
Sanders
Bain
Veitmeier
Kodros
It would be incredible to pull it off. It would be awesome if the bats just came out and gave us a huge lead tomorrow and Moffitt and Veitmeier could clean up 4 innings after Bush goes 5.

Now, in my scenario we would have pitched him on Thurs/Fri so it may have not made a difference anyway
