If ever there was a time to get tossed, that was it. He has lost the fire in his belly.

I thought Cade was going to get tossed atleast he saw ball called strike and told the umpire he missed the call. I do t like arguing every call like the nba but something has to give.

To be fair, the umps won’t let the team wait at home plate anymore.

Stop saying stuff like this! It doesn't fit the narrative

If I’m supposed to pile on Mainieri, I’d say something like “his comment about pulling Walker in the 5th inning because he didn’t know if we’d have another lead the rest of the weekend was one of the most chicken shite things I’ve ever heard a manager say in a post game presser”.

You weren't at the Box last weekend, apparently. Ole Miss was warned about their HR celebration ritual by the home plate umpire. This has been in place for a while in college ball.

CPM was dropping F bombs after Peterson gave up the walk. Def showed a little fire. I was wondering if he was seeing his checks disappearing.

There’s a rule against it

The board shits on him for not coaching & shits on him when he does

You can stop wondering. He’s not going anywhere.

You guys are reaching for shite to be upset about at this point. I couldn't careless if Mainieri had stormed out of the dugout and been the life of the party after the homer, and I couldn't careless that he tried to pull his guys back in the dugout after the homer.

It would have been my personal preference for Mainieri to be yelling, high fiving, and "attaboying" his players. But I will say this, I coached basketball for nearly a decade and during that time I came into contact with a lot of fellow coaches and they all had different philosophies.

Some of them would dog pile with their players, they would celebrate, hoop and holler and slap asses. Some of them would stay even keeled and let their team celebrate, just sit back and stay out the spot light. And some of them wanted to keep their teams level headed and in situations like today would want to keep their teams attention to where it needed to be and have them realize that the game wasn't over and there was more work to do.

And you know what I learned above all else? None of them were wrong.

Ryan blasted the team and coach for no fire, he was right.

This thread did not go well for OP. Took a wrong turn at complaining about a home run and then veered further off course by not knowing the rules.

Maybe Woodward has already told CPM that his coaching days at LSU are limited.
