Doing work alright. Making LSU a shothole one move at a time. Where is he going to find a black trans Muslim lesbian?
Question: What does LSU tell the Swim Coach who’s swimmer is the first Olympian in school history?
Answer: PACK YOUR SHITZ !!
Hahahahahaha......hahahahahaha. Karmas a bitzh.
That’s how bad the program is. Whoever the next coach is he or she (we woke now) will do no harm. A summer league coach could come in and do better with the program.
The old swimming head coach at Clemson, Chris Ip, coached here at LSU for a few years before he was hired as a head coach at Browns University. Wonder if he is in the mix. He was very well liked by the swimmers, an athletes coach. A great recruiter. He would be a real possibility. His wife was involved with student/player development for Clemson football, she could be a real asset to our football program as well. They could come in as a package deal.

Damn. Woody don’t play.

Will be more interesting to see if they will spend on a facility. The only thing I know about Swimming and Diving is that the Natatorium is one of the worst facilities in the country.
There has been major improvements to the facility over the past few years. If the next head coach brings the team back to 5th in the SEC (where the team was ranked when Geyer took over 10 years ago) with the existing facility I believe LSU will be fine with that. I do not see a new facility anytime soon, nor do we need one at this time. Would it be nice? Sure. Do we need it? No.

I believe the club teen Tiger Aquatics is now for sale for $1 to the next LSU head coach. It’s the best deal in town.

6 early morning Wouk outs a week? Sounds like classic over training. You know, summer league.

Chris Ip who used to be at Clemson would be a real consideration. He actually assisted at LSU for a year. He is a great recruiter.

Exactly. Geyer snookered a good coach out of his position 10 years ago. Then he led the team from 5th in the SEC to the bottom of the barrel for a decade. Woody don’t play.
Same facility the Diving team spanks the SEC schools with every year. Remember the dump of a facility the gymnastic team used to work out of? And they were spanking the entire NCAA. Previous swim coach didn’t cry about the facility, he just got results. 5th in SEC Men and 5th in SEC Women when he handed Gayer the keys.

I heard the coach at Rice in Houston might be a great fit.
LSU Swim coach is out

Swim coach is out. Gone. It’s about Freaking time. Only one way from here for LSU Swimming (not Diving) and that is up.
I guess Les and Kathy’s pull at the Natanorium is finally leaving the building.

Well said Sir. Very well said. Gayer is a loser, always has been, always will be. Why are we paying him six figures? Why?
This dude should have been done gone a long time ago. Fire him today !!!!

Where have you been? LSU swimming under Gayer has been dead last in the SEC even with the help of the Diving Team’s multiple, yes multiple, Gold and Silver medal performance points at SEC’s.
Are you kidding me?
Gayer has patted himself on the back for a “school record” relay performance that actually came out last at the SEC meet. And the swimmers can’t stand the dude, well his distance swimmers like him. Word travels fast in the swim world.
We don’t have a facility problem, we have a leadership problem at LSU, in my opinion.

Comes out last in SEC and Board of Supervisors gives him a raise. Sounds like the swim coach is the best job in LSU athletics. AD should be on the hot seat for this one.
re: LSU Swimming...Is this the worst performing sport for LSU currently?

The LSU gymnastics coach recruited the best in the country with the worst facility in the nation. The diving coach consistently recruits top divers in the nation with the same facility as the swim team. Coach has got to go. He is lucky the athletic department doesn’t give a sh— about swimming.
re: This past year, LSU changed its penalty structure for substance abuse to be more lenient.

Now they can hand out in Tigerland and not worry.
