Ok but how do we prevent them from scoring 50 on us? And if Jayden and Malik opt out, do we get our asses kicked?

I can’t handle losing to ND, so hope we don’t play then.

This is a fine line about whether JD plays or not. I can understand both sides. I truly believe that if a NY6 bowl wants LSU JD would play. LSU is one of the most exciting teams in the country to watch. The bowls are all about ratings and a lot of people will tune in to watch.

JD will absolutely play, he's not a wimp. TEAM first guy, Nabers and Thomas both play as well.

Well that’s just… 100% wrong.

We need some help, for sure, but it’s absolutely still possible. Especially after this weekend when we’re up to 13 after OregonSt and Louisville lose. Hell we might get to 12 this weekend if Mizzou, OU, or PennSt lose. We’re currently 15 with 3 weekends of games left left to play.

11 is where we need to get for NY6 because Tulane is going to take 1 of the 12 spots being ranked outside the Top12 as G5 highest ranked champion.

Again… NY6 for LSU is unlikely… We absolutely need some help, but nonetheless it is absolutely still possible, so to say 0% Chance is flat-out factually incorrect.

LSU vs ND in the Gator.

Change of scenery.

Tigers haven't been to the Gator Bowl since the 30-13 "Tommy Hodson to Wendell Davis" win over South Carolina in 1987.

Jacksonville is easier to navigate and the Beach is right there!

Only thing I hate if we do play ND is that Daniels, Nabors, And Thomas will probably not play in the game whereas probably all of the ND players will play including Hartman. This will definitely put LSU at a disadvantage.

If Daniels wins the Hesiman, he’s definitely playing in the bowl game.

I think he plays in the bowl game regardless, but there’s no way he sits out the bowl game after winning the Heisman.

Would be poetic justice for Kelly to beat Notre Dame and our first time beating them in a bowl game since 2006 losing the last 2 in 2014 and 2017, ironically with Kelly as the Head Coach for Notre Dame.

I've seen Notre Dame this year and their offense hasn't been that awe-inspiring. Not near as much as Bama, FSU, Missouri or Ole Miss.

In the event of a Jayden/Malik Lexit, never underestimate the power of GN and a bevy of talented receivers. Lacy, anyone?

That would be a huge matchup for viewers. Notre Dame is no cupcake, for sure, but this matchup will slightly favor LSU if everyone plays and is motivated. The storylines would be compelling too. I would really like to see this happen.

I think you are kidding yourself if you think all three of these guys play in the bowl.
