Went last year. It's a lot of fun. I can imagine attendance will double with LSU being in it. We should be in it every year.

I know they have been asking us to play in it for a number of years. An LSU-Texas game could easily draw 20,000. We have been reluctant to play on the road pre conference but hopefully this is a sign that things are changing.

Most good southern schools are going to want some kind of return game. And that includes schools like UCF, East Carolina, College of Charleston, etc.

YES! Rice and U of H and A&M usually play, Texas was in it a year or so back. This year, UNC and [team from California] were here - bout time LSU came to town!!

LSU wanted more money and Tulane fought it, so LSU pulled their involvement and Tulane and UNO couldn't draw enough to support it.

Say LSU, UNO and Tulane all got 33% f revenue after expenses and payouts; UNO was drawing 2,000, Tulane was drawing 3,000 and LSU was drawing 9,000. LSU wanted more money and didn't get it.

Thats kinda why I don't like this, or these other "neutral site" games out of Louisiana. Football is KINDA different with possible recruiting implication, but I would much rather we La and LSU get more of the financial impact from something like this rather another host school or Texas.

If you told me we could do a SEC vs Pac 10 challenge at Rangers ballpark, I'd actually be a bigger fan of that. The less dependant something like this on LSU fans when LSU or Louisiana doesn't get most of the benefits, I'm not too much of a fan of.

Love the non conference in 2015.

Kansas and BC are two cold weather teams in good conferences, we should beat up on them early in the season, but when they get hot in April and win a few games versus strong ACC/Big12 teams, will really help our RPI
