How can you read this board and think lsu has a good fan base?
Verbally abusive towards players and coaches
Wants coaches fired and players benched because of one bad play/sequence
Impatience
Complete inability to grasp that plenty of programs in the SEC and nationally have talent levels on par or even slightly better than lsu
LSU fans basically think that because Louisiana has the second most black population in America per capita, then it means every team every year should compete for titles

Well, this board is a cesspool and not necessarily indicative of a fanbase as a whole. But I will say we sure as hell don’t fill up stadiums like a top 10 should.
Also I’ll note that I don’t think that very many, if anyone thinks that the per capita black population is a reason we should be good in sports. Winning causes more casual fans to be pulled in, who don’t understand enough high level competition to be rational about being anything other than the top team.

I lived in Dallas for 20 years. Cowboy fans remind me of Texas Longhorn fans. They are plentiful, but dull when it comes to passion for their product.
