We are the craziest but most prideful and dedicated, the Aggies and Cornhuskers definitely belong in the mix.
A&M travels like NO one else in the SEC. Them MFers are delusional and always think they're the best and will win. Most fan bases only travel well when their team is winning/good.

I've been to some NFL stadiums, and I do agree with the article's pick of Kansas City Chiefs fans. They recently stopped allowing fans to pay $30 to park in the parking lot unless they had tickets to the game -- too many tailgaters taking up parking space. Going to one of their games is a fun experience.

Too many on this board view criticism as being a shitty fan. I feel just the opposite. We criticize because we care, as you said.
It's like my daughter recently said to me. She's in college now and told me her roommate's parents let her doing anything she wants, without much pushback. My daughter said now she appreciates how me and my wife dealt with her -- full support but appropriate criticism when she veered off-path. She says she now realizes we do that because we care. If I didn't care, I wouldn't give a hoot what she did.
Same for LSU fans. We criticize because we want to maximize the success of our athletic programs.
If I didn't care, I'd never say a word.
