I think it will still be our biggest challenge in September

Chambliss will be wrecked for four quarters. Lacy too.

I noticed a lot of their players cramping. Looks like their Conditioning game is weak. Not good for OM.

Tigers will be amped.

We likely won't run at will like we did against Clemson, but Weeks, Uma and Ross are a major problem for Chambliss. I respect their defense, but Leavitt will cause a lot of disruption with his mobility. If they over pursue, they're dead against him. And you obviously just can't worry about Leavitt on contain. You have Dillin Jones coming at you, as well.

Tall drink for the Rebs.

I was concerned before CFB kicked off. Watching our game and theirs I’m feeling more confident. If CLK can keep them focused through months of distractions he’ll have them ready for the Rebels.

OM does not have a defense.

Kiffin knows how to play against that defense. LSU’s offense is light years ahead of Ole Miss.

A Kiffinless Chambliss is average at best.

I hope we do roll them but some of you are clueless. Chambliss started a little shakey last night but turned it on in the second half. He finished the game with 400 yds offense and 4TDs...

The bigger issue is Lacy went out with a Thigh bruise.

Louisville had the best defense in the ACC last season, which gives me pause before saying LSU is rolling Ole Miss.

Chambliss is a major problem. Once Lacy went out and he took over, there was no stopping their offense.

I don't like the idea of getting in a shootout on the road. The crowd is going to be relentless, and you're going to be on the wrong end of the officiating.

I don't think the sports world realizes how absolutely personal Kiffin is going to take this game. All the harassment from Ole Miss fans and people affiliated with the school is going to end in a bloodbath.

I think Ole Miss lacks depth which will hurt vs LSU.

Louisville had the best defense in the ACC

Everyone say it with me. Your strength coach is the second most important coach you hire.

I partially agree, but it does show their DC is capable of putting good defenses on the field, and their program culture instills tough defense.

There is some perception on here that they are a high scoring shootout team since Brohm is an offensive guy.

Why do you think Louisville is better on offense than LSU?

Louisville started a kid that couldn’t complete a forward pass in the 1st half along with numerous delay of game penalties and still had a chance to beat them.

LSU 50 Ole Miss 17

Whit Weeks played the entire game against Ole Miss last season. What are you talking about?

Louisville took Old Miss to the last play of the game with a QB who had not started since 2022 . Louisville had a wide open receiver that was overthrown , otherwise TD , and also the long snapper fiasco . The Heisman is not going to Happy Hollow !!

So Louisville puts up 38 and you don't think LSU can do better?

So you don’t think that we should temper the “roll” expectations - given the fact that:

1) they’ll be playing at home vs a rival?
2) their coaching staff (that didn’t go w/ Lane) will have a grudge mentality & more focus?
3) the players will have had 2 weeks to get better?

What about 28-13 do you not like?

All the pundits have salivated about this “payback” game vs Lane Kiffin.

If Blake Baker’s defense holds this TC-led offense to 13, and SL & Co score 28 vs their defense, especially if they get their secondary issues fixed, then I’m totally fine with 28-13 on the road
