I will take you even farther back. In the 50s, my family lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My father, older, brother, and I listen to LSU on an a.m. radio that had to be placed in the window facing south in order to get reception. The LSU Tiger network was transmitted from New Orleans and could be heard across the continental United States.
The press will always push their agenda. Kiffin has matured over the past 20 years. He is reconciling with Layla and is very open about his Christian faith. I am glad he is in Baton Rouge at this stage of his life.

Who do you think Kiffin should go after for quarterback then?
Value in the ball game is two weeks of practice that Kiffin can observe the players still on the roster and plan next year.
Just wait. I’m sure the dumping down will continue. :rotflmao:
Lane Kiffin and the “LSU brand“ goes a long way even in New Orleans. I did not feel an individual recruiter. Can consistently beat out those two realities.
He doesn’t need the money so he could start in a learning position similar to that of a “graduate assistant“.
I have no love lost for Tulane, however, they are Louisiana school, and I grew up in New Orleans. Pulling for the wave!

I think he has matured a lot. He has reconciled with his wife and was also the executive pastor at his church in Oxford.
The stadium was constructed, mostly a steel. When the crowd started stamping their feet the whole stadium would vibrate. Also, there was not a bad seat in the house.
Sorry, I meant LSU instead of Ole Miss.

Archie Manning butt hurt Kiffin at LSU

I have never liked the Manning family. As a New Orleans native I saw them as kids frequently. I never understood why they repeatedly doxxed LSU and played for other SEC teams. Archie is merely complaining about Tiffin, doing exactly what Peyton, Eli, and Arch did I.e. choosing another SEC school over Ole Miss.

17 million I think. Of course he had to split it with his wife and he is in the last year of his buyout.
We already despise each other since at least the mid 1950s.
Well, then, I hope Kiffin’s contract contains a poison pill if he decides to jump to another team.

Dream hire would be Kiffin as head coach and Saban as athletic Director!
He won it with a quarterback much like Auburn won it with Cam Newton.
LSU and UF are certainly not apples to apples. comparatively LSU is a diamond to university of Florida’s emerald! Both good, however, which one will hold it value longer?!
I agree with your summation. The torso injury can heal with him playing as long as he does not sustain a forceful torque injury to his core. That said playing the backup would give the team the opportunity to experience another QB's playing style, possibly complicate Ole Miss's preparation, and finally give our backup some gametime experience.
They were lucky not to have two legendary coaches, bear Bryant, and Nick Saban. Other than that, they will return to ordinary. I don’t think they have the money to fire , say they are stuck with them for the foreseeable future. LSU, on the other hand, has won national championships with Orgeron and Miles. Which shows you the strength of the program in general.GEAUX TIGERS!!
