I would swear from looking at this board that we are 2–4 with multiple blowout losses.

Maybe we will go 8–4 or 9–3. Maybe we won’t make the playoffs. But we don’t look like a shitty football team. We’re right there.

Let’s get behind the guys to beat Mississippi State and Auburn. We look like a juggernaut at home. Let’s see how it rolls against Alabama and Texas.

The frustration this week is due to the fact that we really should have beaten Kentucky by multiple scores, but a few frick ups cost us the game, forcing us to now be perfect for the rest of the season.

Are people exaggerating the flaws that exist on this team? Ab. so. lutely. Welcome to the Rant.

We are 2 plays away from being 6-0. This is a good football team. In 2 years it will be a great football team.

When you have a roster and a coaching staff like LSU does, losing to a shite Kentucky team is unacceptable

That wasn’t a great UK team or a good UK team. That team is dog shite and LSU has better players at every position

LSU isn’t “right there”

The frustration is coming from we couldnt really afford a loss to Kentucky of all the teams left on the schedule.

It mean if we're still trying to get into the playoffs, we CANT have another road loss to Auburn or Tennessee. We also HAVE to beat Alabama and Texas at home and certainly MSU. So thats why that loss hurts so bad, zero margin for error now rest of season with plenty of losable games to go. Certainly will be notable underdogs to Bama at home.

I dont think any teams OUTSIDE of Bama left on this schedule is certainly better than us, but it certainly doesnt mean we cant play like crap on the road once again and lose to a Auburn or Tennessee. Getting Texas at home is huge for sure and they are obviously very beatable with the way they have been playing and were obviously not the #1 team in the country whatsoever and havent played that way at all the last 2 weeks.

I dont see us in the playoffs, but I can see 9-3. We just need to take care of business on the road and split those home games against Texas/Bama. We have to protect our home stand as much as possible, even if those are the toughest games left. IT starts with not laying an egg vs. MSU this weekend.

Great teams find a way to win close games. Good teams have moral victories.

We are 2-2 really and 1-2 in the SEC.
We will have to really improve to go 5-4 in conference.

People are upset because they expected more. That’s all.

But the fact is we aren’t bad, but we aren’t really good either and we are in a tough league. Everybody is raiding the portal not just us. Everybody buys players not just us.

Kiffin had vastly improved our offense, but our talent isn’t top shelf. Ed gave good players, but not many all conference players playing now.

On defense guys we thought would be very good are ok. Our young guys are limited. They need experience. Injuries have hurt. Our scheme is predictable. Teams adjust.

I’m resolved to the facts. We aren’t a top ten team and that means we aren’t a playoff team.

We’re a good, not great, team. Even with the horrendously awful officiating in Lexington, we still should’ve won the game. It is what it is.

The most upsetting part was Baker’s dumbass zone defense on the final drive after Lane decided to punt. We gifted them 3 points. Should’ve just gone for it on 4th and 1 if we were going to play that stupid arse defense.

9-3 would be a great first year under Kiffin and we might sneak into the playoffs with that record with the losses we have tbh.

I wouldn’t even be mad at 8-4. Go look at Kirby’s and Saban’s firsts seasons in the SEC. Lane is going to do great here and Leavitt should make a massive jump next year.

I'm glad someone else is saying this. Kentucky isn't even good, and the only reason they will finish in the top 25 with a good record is because their schedule is a joke (the only great team they play is Bama). I also don't even think that Ole Miss is that good either, at least compared to Georgia or Bama. I can excuse the Ole Miss loss, but the Kentucky loss was inexcusable.

It’s not about celebrating a moral victory it’s about not being emotional and reactive, and being objective and reasonable about the situation the team is in.

Really just frustrated with the coaching decisions.

We have a decent enough team and should have won against Kentucky. Ole Miss was better than us at the time. Leavitt is getting better but it may be too late.

Losing faith in the coaches is not a good feeling after the BK era. My soul is still healing from the last 4 years, and I don't fully trust Kiffin yet because of it.

UK is a good program, too. They spent 32 million this year and have tons of buy in. They built their team to win games like that. Their ceiling will be capped but they will have a great team each year with Will Stein at the helm. We won’t be the only big time program they upset over the next few years.

Yeah and A&M had better players at every position yet got beat by your so called shite team. Ole Miss had better players than Florida yet got steam rolled. Texas had better players by far than Oklahoma yet got beat by a shite team. Your point is lacking in truth.

Okay but what if you're wrong and you trying to trash Kentucky is just a way you cope with disappointment?
