This is hyperbole. Kentucky has been overachieving in every game they've played this year even losing heavy to Bama. They pretty much hang with Bama until the end it collapsed and they got rolled. This team has been playing hard all year.

The number of posters just packing it in is ridiculous.

I thought we’d lose 3 to 4 games this year. I didn’t think we’d get out coached by Kentucky. We looked unprepared at times especially defensively. Baker was embarrassed.

I know Kiffin and Baker both have their reasons for how they coached the game. It was inexcusable to not have one linebacker in the middle of that OT play.
We can't do anything about how the zebras officiate the game, but the coaches should have made better decisions and put the players in better positions to win the game.
Every team remaining on the schedule is beatable, but that is also contingent on LSU playing up to their potential even without Weeks, Green, and Spears on the field. That is three hugely important players, but the adjustments need to be made to account for that.
We need to navigate the next two weeks against State and Auburn. Win those two, and getting Green back for Alabama would be huge.
10-2 is still doable, but will Kiffin be aggressive offensively with a yard to go, or kick a FG, or punt?
Will Baker go back to being aggressive defensively? Keys is not Weeks, and neither is Dottery, but the pieces are there to have a solid LB group that can get the job done.

I think LSU has a decent shot at running the table. The two toughest games are at home. The away games are all lesser teams than we lost to this year.

I posted nearly the same earlier.

LSU is 9pts away from being 6-0 and about 2-3 plays away from that actually happening.

The injury bug will always suck and has been an issue this year.

right now the ball isn’t bouncing their way. I can’t recall another QB having more deflected passes being intercepted. For reference, UGA Stockton has had plenty on deflected passes fall into the hands of UGA receiver that wasn’t the target.

Point I’m making is LSU isn’t far off from being a really good team and scary for any team to play. If they can get to November 6-2 then they have a damn good shot to go on a run.

Don’t forget, after this coming weekend, there’s gonna be a lot of 2 loss SEC schools and plenty 2 loss in Top 25.

Its a lot harder to accept a loss when you're the better team but shoot yourselves in the foot and don't close the door. Its a lot easier to accept a loss when you're beaten by a better team. I think that has a lot to do with it.

When you have a roster and a coaching staff like LSU does, losing to a shite Kentucky team is unacceptable

Alabama didn’t play a team with anywhere near equal talent for over a decade, yet the greatest coach in college football history still lost a game or two every year.

Georgia is going on close to a decade with the same talent advantage and also drops games every year.

The age old rant favorite that the “most talented” team should always win and any failure to do so is some catastrophic indictment on the coach and team is the absolute stupidest fricking idea anyone with even functional intelligence has the shamelessness to speak out loud

Here is the thing. There is Ole Miss, Texas and Alabama on the schedule. That could easily be 3 losses. But you cant be out here losing to Kentucky man that shite is UNACCEPTABLE.

Is this LSU or is this excuses university? Because I'm hearing excuse after excuse in here today man. And its ridiculous. Yeah you lost two road games by 9 points...ok....why the hell are you losing to Kentucky in the first place???

Ill give you Ole Miss. It was an emotional game for them and it was still a close game despite the mistakes. But Kentucky? Bruh lol.

We are 2 plays away from being 6-0. This is a good football team. In 2 years it will be a great football team.

Lol bro we've had 100 different players on the team over the span of the last 2 years. Next years team will be completely different... in 2 years... we probably will have less than 10 players on the team that played this year and will still be eligible. It's Extremely rare for a freshman to end on the same team he originally committed to.

Losing by 1 or losing by 100. Doesn’t matter. The reality of the situation is for whatever reason we do not make the critical plays when they need to be made.

In no way is that Kentucky team better than us. But here we are with 2 losses because we dick around too much.

But we don’t look like a shitty football team.

We are not shitty (though we looked shitty at times during the game coaching and playing), but when the average person sees that you lost to Kentucky, they consider you to be mediocre. And that is rightly so. UK is improved and is a decent team, but I don't see anything about them that stands out.

Losing to Ole Miss sucked, but was not a big deal because Ole Miss was a playoff team and has the best QB in college football. It was also an unbelievably tough environment to go into for a first SEC road game with all that happened. But even a close loss to Kentucky is just flat-out disappointing because that was a 5-win team last year that got obliterated in their last two games against Vandy and Louisville and they have a 1st-year head coach going up against a veteran head coach with LSU talent.

I get that we don't get everything we want immediately, but we shouldn't have lost to UK and we had plenty of chances to end that game for good and didn't. So people have a right to be very disappointed.
