It's Amp *Hill and watching him in spring practice he was better than Dwyane Bowe and Craig Davis. He's the biggest one I think of that didn't pan out after blowing out his knee

Blat from the waaaaaay past

Eric Ellington. RB from Moeller in Cinncinati. Lots of hype for him around 1979 -80 . Barely a footnote.

Torran Williams. Was a huge juco get in Saban’s ‘01 recruiting class. Most forgot about him with all the other studs in that class, but the feeling was he was going to come in and be an immediate impact.

The one that pops in my head is Cecil Collin’s. He made a big difference, but man did he not achieve his full potential especially in the pros.

And I forgot to mention that we all know why.

Micah Eugene
Most of that 2011 defense thought he was the best RB on the team. They said tackling lamichael James was easy mode after going against Micah in practice.

Good list; I would add a few guys, some who were good or even very good, depending on your perspective, but felt like they had more to give but were not able to because of injury, bad decisions, or leaving too early.

Trev Faulk (left too soon)
John Emery (several injuries)
Ryan Perriloux (bad decisions)
Myles Brennan(core injury)

Didn't come here (or anywhere) to play school. He should have been a first round pick in the 2023 draft. Instead decided to do whatever it was that he decided to do and looks like he's finishing up his career at "Allen University" this year. Some lower level HBCU.

If I'm correct, his career went

2021 - LSU
2022 - JUCO (dominated)
2023 - signed with Ole Miss but ineligible
2024 - tried to return to Ole Miss but ineligible
2025 - nothing
2026 - D2 HBCU football

What a waste of talent.

Between him and Arik Gilbert are the two biggest wastes of talent in recent memory. The two of them were extremely talented and then just ran into issue after issue despite getting several chances.
