LSU Football Players you've always wondered why they never panned out?

The Solomon Thomas thread got me thinking. I understand things happen or guys may get injured and just don't always come back the same. Just sucks these guys had all the potential in the world and just couldn't get on the field or played very little.
Some names in that thread plus a few more:
Kardell Thomas
Bryce Langston
Travonte Valentine
Clifton Garrett
Dee Anderson
Marcus Dumervil
Deion Smith
Quency Wiggins
Chris Tolliver
Demario Tolan
Shelton Sampson

Really thought we had something here with Quency Wiggins and Dashawn Womack. Looked like tarzan plays like jane

Agreed with both. I know Womack transferred to Ole Miss but have no idea if he made an impact.

I'll give you a bigger one you didn't name.
Chris Hilton.
I've never seen a player get more chances to step up after consistently not rising to the occasion. Season after season.
And you could see all the talent seemed to be there.
Who knows. Maybe he'll be one of those weird ones where it suddenly clicks at the next level.
Chris Hilton.

He was more of a victim of circumstance than ability but Myles Brennan threw for 1100 yards and 11 tds in 3 games and then never played football again.

Jarrell Cherry. Guess the bricks in the backpack didn’t help that much

Was a huge whiff by most recruiting services. An oversized player playing against undersized teams. I remember him having a foot injury?, but he was never able to shed any of the fat he continued to carry and didn’t seem to be mobile. Probably would’ve done better at a smaller in state program.

He seems to be doing really good in the NFL now. Im always happy when it works out for guys like this. Some kids just need the right coach or system.

Malachi Dupre
Didn’t really have that dawg in him but was also limited by Les’s shitty offense

Terrace Marshall not lasting in the NFL still doesn't make any sense to me.

Quency Wiggins for sure. Top 50 player out of HS, all the makes of a dominant DL from Baton Rouge

He didn’t pan out because he didn’t exist.

Clifton Garrett
Couldn’t take the heat.

Had a career ending concussion in practice.
I’ll add Anthony The Freak Johnson.
Set the Louisiana Sack record. I wouldn’t say he was a total bust, but he didn’t live up to the hype.
