Yeah don’t get butt hurt about he.

I say shite like that all the time. I’m a fan of the sarcastic understatement.

He was 2-2 on the season, don't act like he would have gone undefeated the rest of the way.

Would absolutely love a 2 for 1 LSU vs Kansas series. 2 in BR 1 in Kansas. I think the ovation Les would get running out of that visiting tunnel would bring a tear to my eye. I know it would do nothing for LSU.. I just think it would be so fricking cool/special

No real LSU fan would have your screen name. I put you right up there with Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and AOC.

And, you're as big an idiot as Les himself.

most of us tiger fans don't understand what I means not to grow up a tiger fan. but to coaches not from Louisiana, the LSU coaching job whether head coach or asst. coach or A.D. the job is just that. It's just another job. No different than anywhere else, but with a few more perks, and good pay.

It is surprising because Les is usually so clear with his speaking.

As for LSU and the shameful fans who played a major role in his termination:

As for this shameful fan, I think Miles was below LSU when he was hired. Skip said Saban left such a talented team anyone was going to win, and he also said Miles had young kids so he knew he wasn't going to leave in 3 years.

Miles ends up backing into one Natty and blows another.

I love Bertman as a coach and AD, but I think the highering of Miles set our football team back and cost us a Minimum of 2 National Championships.

He should have been run off so many times through the years. I don't feel bad at all in the way it ended.

Give me a break. Les had some good years, but let’s not go overboard. It was definitely time for him to go. It was his own stubbornness on offense that cost him his job. He reaped his own whirlwind.

He devoted his life to the university for 12 years.
I seem to recall he was extremely well paid during those 12 years and had truly great athletes to pick from. You also said LSU did not end his employment in a good way. I agree on this but it was mainly because he was given another chance and then lied to everyone when he said the offense was going to be different. Oh yeah, he ended up with ten million when he left so I wish I had been disrespeted that much when I left my job.

It's definitely just Les speak. If you've listened to any of his podcasts since he was replaced as HC then you would know he still holds LSU in high esteem and that the tigers are still near and dear to his heart. We are over analyzing this for sure.

If Jesus Christ showed up on your doorstep, would you have the balls to tell that middle-easterner to go back where he came from? If so, I commend you for your unwavering beliefs!

Decent in this context is the same as saying awesome.

Context matters. This was in no way a slight to LSU.
exactly. This isn't even "les speak." he's clearly saying he was at a great place.

He took a Program built up by Saban and Emmert and slowly deteriorated it.

Oh brother. Saban won a championship in ‘03 then promptly went 9-4 the next year. If he had stayed this fan base would have been happy with 9-10 wins a year until he and Candy Edwards retired to West Virginia. Not saying that’s what would have happened but that’s absolutely where expectations were. If it wasn’t we wouldn’t have hire some dude from Oklahoma State who barely anybody in Baton Rouge had ever heard of. But surprise surprise that dude turned out to be statistically the best coach we ever had. But we never let him forget that he wasn’t Nick Saban and when it was time for him to go (it was time) we replaced him with the D-Line coach.

There’s a reason why a resources rich SEC program in a talent rich state ended up with a D-Line coach for HC folks.

You guys act like getting to the natty is a given thing that a bad coach can easily do with his own players. I think O is shaping up to be a good coach, and he hasn’t even gotten us to top 4 yet. Les even having that run leading up to that game is still impressive no matter how you slice it. He was an elite coach in 2011.
