Sometimes, it’s not worth reading into shite like this. It probably means nothing.

Were you not paying attention during 11 years of Les Miles? You can't over-analyze the words he uses.

If you listen to the whole thing, the whole question was about Michigan not about LSU. He's giving his entire answer about Michigan. Don't get all insecure, the guy raved about LSU and Baton Rouge even after Alleva's abortion of a process in 2015 and 2016...Les always continued to be positive about LSU.

I don’t think he meant it as a slight to LSU.

I just think it is normal Les talk.

LSU doesn’t deserve Les’s adoration

He devoted his life to the university for 12 years. Brought the BAYOU BENGALS to heights unheard of. He was one of the most successful SEC coaches in history, at a time when the sec was incredibly difficult and elite. He did it with love, compassion, genuineness, and humor. He carried the trail forward that the great Bo Schembechler trailblazed.

Despite giving fans win after win, bragging right after bragging right, he was rewarded with scorn, annoyance, and downright disrespectful conspiracy theories ranging from brain damage to players having “dirt” on him in the form of naked pics.

LSU fired a man who went 114-34. They did it in the worst way possible.

The fact that a man still retains unconditional love for an institution that fired him is a reflection of his robust character

As for LSU and the shameful fans who played a major role in his termination:

“For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind”

Decent in this context is the same as saying awesome.

Context matters. This was in no way a slight to LSU.

This is my issue with the LSU leadership. Coach Miles was all class all of the time and they treated him like a homeless man pandering in front of a church. That's not leadership. They could have moved him on with dignity. Very poorly planned and emotion led response to the issue.

3rd ranked recruiting class poised to get even better. Team ranked 6th in the country. Veteran quarterback, stacked at WR and an absolutely filthy defense. Our Karma is just fine but thanks.

Les deserved better in the end but how many years do you deserve to turn things around when things go south. He was stubborn, dishonest about the direction of the offense, and had been passed up. He left the roster with GLARING holes and refused to make the changes necessary to keep LSU competing for the SEC crown. Les had PLENTY of chances. Still love the guy but c’mon. Les is no victim.

Les doesn’t deserve jack s#@. He took a Program built up by Saban and Emmert and slowly deteriorated it.

Don't cry for Les.

For those saying he didn't deserve what get got, he may very well have gotten more than he deserved.
