Baum is a great place to watch and the open outfield area that has tables and bar-b-que pits with just a General Admission ticket I'm sure pushes up their numbers. The "new" Box just wasn't designed very well. Plain Jane and boring.

There are 12 ounce craft beer cans being sold in the stadium. There are also 16 ounce cans being sold in the stadium. Just because you aren't familiar with what I'm talking about doesn't mean I'm lying.

Too many old timers in the Box as well. God bless them, but they aren’t as rowdy as they were in the 90’s.

LSU baseball is a national brand, so this isn't meant to be an excuse, but MSU OM and Ark don't have much to look forward to in national contention other than baseball.
It's just unfortunate that the Box was built just before major stadium overhauls begin.
As is in anything, winning will cure all and if this team gets back to national contention, attendance will go up and renovations will commence.

"hey guys let's build a new stadium but try to make it look like the old one.... you know but just have none of the character the old one had. Also, LSU baseball fans show up no matter what, so need for any kind of new amenities or anything...and one more thing, let's make sure the ushers start to act like even bigger dicks on power trips."

It's not just paid. Their actual attendance is way higher than ours. They fill that place up completely nearly every weekend.

Their actual has been higher than ours for years. That's why the distinction now, because we kept "claiming the title" based on paid knowing we weren't actually getting the most fans in the building for some time now.

Went to a ULL game 2 years ago. They have a kids $1.00 menu which helped a lot - hot dog, small fry, kids drink - all $1 each. I would bring my kids to Alex Box more often if I could feed them for $3-4.

The beat us by 11 per game in 2022. I bet we beat them by 500 per game this year!

ULL draws the same attendance for baseball that they do for football!
