Arkansas has outpaced LSU in actual attendance for a while now

Shocking they surpassed LSU in paid attendance. Have they done some modifications to their stadium?

Maybe our fans will finally stop masturbating to the phrase "best college baseball fans" now.

I think they prefer to call themselves the smartest fans in college baseball

Not really shocking. Arkansas has some amazing fan support for awhile now. Miss State too.

got some work to do Baws. This is unacceptable. Time to hit up some more gray hairs.

All the more reason to renovate Alex Box and revamp the experience and recapture that attendance record.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State have all surpassed LSU as far as overall game day experiences for fans. No secret the Box needs updates

They've also had much better teams than LSU going back to 2017

probably expected when we had no pitchers and had a shortstop that couldn't throw a ball to first on target. Sure we will pass them back up this year with a complete team.

Yep. The goal needs to be that fans should be able to have a good time even when it's not a top 10 matchup. That's not the case now. It's why Mississippi State had much better atmospheres & attendance than LSU last year and they were awful.

Paying $9 for 12 ounce can of beer is not conducive to a good time.

It's college baseball in Baton Rouge, not MLB in Boston. Lower the fricking prices.

Arky hasn’t done a lot of modifications, they did add some more boxes a few years ago.

Besides the fact they’ve fielded very competitive teams lately, their stadium advantage is the outfield berm which allows cooking and coolers. They can pack a bunch of people in there and routinely do, especially on Sat/Sun games.

They’ve done a great job supporting the fan experience and are now looking at adding more capacity.

Schedule more weekend series with ACC/Big 12 teams.

Less weekend series with Ivy and MEAC teams.

A power conference weekend (ACC/Pac 12/Big 12). A weekend against a postseason level team from the north (Bryant, Wright St, Indiana St, etc). A complete tomato can like Villanova or Georgetown. And the other weekend could be either an out of town tournament or a mid-major name that might generate some interest like Wichita St or Dallas Baptist.
