re: Jay Johnson will be fired in 2027

You have set the stupid bar at an all time high. Congratulations!
I was in Washington DC on 7/4/76. My dad worked for the FDIC and would go to Washington occasionally for an extended work stay. We actually were there the entire summer of 1969. In 1976 it was only a couple of weeks. On the way up we stopped in Gatlinburg a couple of days. We did not have to be in Washington till after the Bicentennial but I lobbied to get there early so we could see the fireworks. We stayed in Alexandria VA. The hotel had a really nice pool and a ping pong table. Sixteen year old me decided I would rather hang out at the hotel where there were girls in bikinis and non stop ping pong games going on. The rest of the family were kind of pissed at me but they went into DC without me. They told me the fireworks were great but the crowd was so huge that got back to the hotel around 2AM.
Great memories!

Damn War Boudin. Proofreading is your friend. Are they depth pieces or death peaces like you stated. Big difference. Also I’m sorry your interest was not peaked. Perhaps it was piqued instead?
re: Why do you think Shaq didn’t win a Natty at LSU?

Without checking Google I know that Bill Laimbeer played at Notre Dame and the person who hit the shot to beat LSU in 87 was a Baton Rouge kid named Keith Smart.
First thing I thought of was that scene in Raising Arizona during the group therapy session in prison. That shite was hilarious.
Well, before he was fired he had Julian Phillips five star, Yohan Traore five star, Devin Ree four star, and Marvel Allen four star All committed and more importantly signed to a letter of intent.
I know things look pretty bleak right now but I’m going to trust the guy that won the SEC in his second year coaching LSU.
I wanted McMahon to succeed. I think he is a decent coach and a good guy, but this program was stuck in the mud. It was going nowhere.
Wade may flame out this go round. I don’t know. I tend to think his history of getting multiple teams to the NCAA tournament with fewer resources than he will have moving forward bodes well for our program.
Everyone who is declaring him a failure at this juncture just looks stupid and petty.
I am optimistic about the future of LSU basketball. I haven’t been able to say that in a while.

re: Has anyone on here had a hip replacement?

I hade one a few years ago. Left hip anterior approach. I was 63. It was a very easy recovery. I had a walker but I swear I never really needed it. If you are in good shape you will do great. Good luck!

Can you imagine having the same starting infield for a decade. That could never happen now.

The guy seems to really ramp it up in the post season.
Well looks like Bella is leaving so come on down.
Ouch. I thought she loved it here.

Max Mckinnon
I was shocked how good it was. Glad it’s back on a streaming service. It disappeared after it’s run on Netflix.
re: Which is worse? Smoking and drinking, or depression meds?

Ok just looked it up. The max dose for Clonazepam aka Klonopin is 20mg a day. That is fricking insane. I don’t know how anyone could function. I was an oncology RN 29 years and I have seen massive amounts of opioids and benzodiazepines prescribed. I have never seen close to that amount prescribed. If you truly were prescribed 25mg a day, you found a practitioner that went off the reservation.

A starter dose of clonazepam Aka as Klonopin is about 0.5mg to 1mg a day. The largest dose it is available in is 1mg. Were you taking 25 pills a day? If no, then you are mistaken on your dose or which medication you were actually taking.

I don’t post often on the Rant. When I do, I try to present a coherent thought.

I’m beginning to hate all of our right handed batters.
I was an RN for 29 years. I worked in the outpatient setting for many years. There are a lot of men who I have no idea how they made it through life without their wife. They knew nothing about their health history, surgical history, who their other doctors were, or what medications they took. This was the norm, not the exception. The guys that actually knew something were rare. Usually men who were accountants, engineers, educators, or in the medical field had a better grasp, but not always.
I set up a lot of procedures in the clinic or in the OR. Almost always I was speaking to the wife about times, dates, pre op instructions etc…
This has always baffled me. Most men just don’t seem to know much about their own health. It’s like it’s a burden to them so they let their wife handle it.

It was a rough day for sure. I’m too old to change my allegiance so I guess I’ll shake it off and cheer for LSU starting at 6 PM tomorrow.
