Whites definitely hung over. He’s not hurt

An intrepid reporter would head to the clubhouse and try to ask White himself.

Apparently you don't need to do that to get too far in college baseball. The TV broadcasters rarely even notice when there's a defensive replacement

Jones and Dugas struggling this weekend

Jobert up, Thompson on 2nd, 1 out

strike, 0-1
high and outside, 1-1
throw to 2nd, Thompson picked off, but will be reviewed
call stands, Thompson out
strike, 1-2
high, 2-2
swing and a miss, K, inning over

Yuck!

I know she can’t go ask Jay in the dugout. But you know what? She’s the Advocate beat writer which gives her a certain amount of prestige if she’d use it. Hang around close and holler at a trainer. That’s why you make acquaintances on the staff and coaching staff, which I doubt she’s doing. An intrepid reporter would head to the clubhouse and try to ask White himself. If you have a good relationship with players and staff, stuff like this is just part of the job—at least it used to be with sports reporters.

This is not how it works when you are reporting at a game.

There's a place in the press box for reporters, possibly a spot for photogs, sometimes they don't let you shoot your own video.

IN GAME, you have very little access to anyone.

The only way a reporter MIGHT find out in game, is if they communicate via phone/text and have a source who will put their own job in jeopardy if the HC doesn't want injury news out.

No way!!!!

Yep, out

Thompson’s hand got stuck.
