Man it was really difficult to find the part of the thread were LSU won through all the bitching being done.

I hope so but this was a very good matchup for us so let’s see what happens this week and I don’t mean outcome necessarily.

Damn. Great job pulling it off after being down at the end

This is what a guy who is not enamored with the coach but always pulling for LSU sounds like. I, for one, can appreciate this.
6 straight wins to end the season and we are going dancing baw

Not Karma, good execution and decision making down the stretch. We earned that win, it wasn’t luck
I agree, but it always seems like some bounce or another goes the other way, like the possession arrow being in our favor or the other team not somehow draining that last shot. A few close games they lost seemed like bad bounces contributed.
It takes effort and good decision making to be in position for the bounces to go your way.

An extra bounce our way against Georgia and Florida and this season would have a completely different feel and the LSU haters would be silent.

Great comeback W after playing so poorly on offense for long stretches of the game.
Reed played about as good as he has played in the 2nd half, Ward was great with getting us in contention to win it and Wright came up big at the end after struggling. Hannibal with the 12 rebounds hustled his arse off and made a difference.

I agree with you. Feels like we had a lot of close games that could have gone either way. Glad we got this one. Good start to my weekend

That’s the thing about those 1 or 2 bounces. They happen to everyone but if you play consistent basketball you can overcome them and make them less important just like the bad coverage on the 3 today. We’ll all forget about that play in a few weeks.

Only two SEC teams have more Q1 wins than LSU after this W Had lsu pulled out the Dayton & FL games & beat Nicholls ( ) this is a firm bubble team ATM
Damn that’s crazy to think about. Especially considering the tough loses at UGA where you needed one box out to win and at Gators where you just needed to make a bunny to go to OT. Thanks for that info LE

They trigger me but I do enjoy your rules to watching the basketball game, it’s very funny We all just want to win
Glad you think they’re funny. They’re completely written tongue in cheek and I write them with a funny intent. As the Ws start to pile up, the tone of the rules will change as well.
Geaux Tigers!

play consistent basketball
I agree with you. This team is a good team when we play consistently. Our problem is that we dig massive holes for ourselves especially on the road our allow our leads to get choked away.
Basketball is a game of runs and we’ve been victim to same bad ones this year.
That’s why I really like Hannibal and Williams. They may not explode like Cook and Wright, but they are far more consistent on both ends of the court.
Hoping coach Mc and the Tigers can BUILD off this win.

Can’t undervalue having Ward in the lineup today. I get that he’s not a perfect player, nobody is, but he gives you too much to be sitting all the time.

I get what you're saying Driz but there are guys in this thread saying things that make it sound like they are disappointed LSU won. If they don't want people to think they are rooting for LSU to lose, they need to quit sounding like.
I always say a scoreboard or game-thread has to have some understanding of reactionary posting.
I only speak for myself, but I'll stand up for long time LSU Basketball posters - even in disagreement.
Anyone that isn't happen we won?

I agree with you. I was screaming during the empty arse pmac games last year to put him in. If you attended there was a good chance you heard me at least once.
The only way I can rationalize why MM doesn’t play him is because he’s not the best defender and he has foul issues. I do think though that this team is filled with enough good defenders that with the proper scheme and players around Ward he won’t be a liability.
BTW I’m gonna die on the hill that Hannibal being subbed out against Dayton was the reason we blew the lead and lost the game.

Ward came through admirably. I didn't think we had a chance today without Cook, but the team held together for forty whole minutes
