Of course you wouldn't, but that wasn't really the question. The argument of "but we were injured too" doesn't mean much considering who was injured. You can't equate LSU injuries (State also has 5 defenders injured; 2 season ending) to losing the single most important position on the field.

I think being the 2nd highest ranked 2 loss team is probably pretty accurate. We can’t pretend like we didn’t shite the bed at UK.

The rankings of ND and Indiana annoy me. They lost the only actual tests they’ve had thus far, and keeping them that high means they can lose basically both (for each) hard games, fatten themselves on cupcakes and skate in.

Indiana's only worthwhile win at this time last year was incidentally at Oregon, and they didn't play another ranked team until the B1G Championship Game. I guess they shouldn't have been considered a top-10 team either.

And LSU ranked ahead of Texas makes no sense. BYU at #2 is a joke. They could not beat half the teams in SEC.

At some point the idiot pollsters have to get over themselves and start hammering teams that don't play anybody. Only way this dumb system gets fixed.

CFP says they don't factor the polls in, but clearly they do when they start talking about "X team has beat Y number of ranked teams".

This circular logic BS with teams like Notre Dame, BYU, and Utah beating one of the other and being their "flagship" win that gets them in the playoffs is absurd.
