We need our band to return to it's glory though.
I agree, but I don’t see it happening under the current administration. The only hope for Tiger Band is to get it back under the control of the Athletic Department and away from the School of Music.

"Traffic experts" - let's add another 20,000 seats with no consideration of parking and traffic ...

I think there is some confusion about what this involves.
The show lights are not the same as the field lights and have nothing to do with how the field looks during the game. It is used only during a long break, like between the third and fourth quarters.
If done correctly, the LED light show is an amazingly entertaining part of the stadium experience.
It not only looks great on TV, but the stadium experience is really neat. Like it or not, it will be one more experience for recruits standing in Tiger Stadium on some Saturday night, adding one more thing for them to say, "I want to play here!"
While I'm a Tiger fan, I still attend games in my adopted state. Nebraska Cornhusker stadium has a Red Out light show between the third and fourth quarters. The stadium goes dark, the music begins to blast, and the lights come on in this eerie red glow, complete with fireworks. 90,000 fans dancing and yelling in a red surreal glow.
It's great.
Just picture Tiger Stadium glowing purple with great music.

baw i've seen it done in multiple stadiums, including bama & ut
it's a gimmick. the "stadium experience" should be watching football with the golden band playing. they're doing everything to "fix" the gameday experience except for addressing the thing killing the gameday experience.

Gotta admit the LED light show at UCLA to "California Love" was pretty cool.

Make the plans published ahead of time and don't make exceptions.
Then, people will park in the area that will exit the direction they want to go.
How many years have they been playing games in tiger stadium for them not to get this shite right?

Their stadium looks weird to me.

At least put in some lights that allow the field to have decent lighting for play.

This. There were games this past year where they admitted protocols were not followed. No person should be stuck in their parking lot for 2 hours without moving.

They need to upgrade the Great Value brand speakers in the stadium

I get people that choose not to go to a game because of traffic but I never understood people that complain about traffic once they made the decision to go to an event with 100k+ people.
When the decision is made to go the traffic that happens after is part of the package.

Supposedly, the speakers we have are top of the line. It doesn't help that all of the sound blasts out of the north end zone.

They were top of the line when installed. The current NEZ video board and speaker system were installed prior to the SEZ expansion. The sound echos off the SEZ and back. Sitting near the midfield or closer to the north it isn’t terrible sitting in the south it’s delayed.
