LSU currently has a .595 winning percentage in baseball. That's closer to 7-5 in football.

Now do SEC winning percentage.

Yet you don’t refute the points about why we are so putrid this season with the number of losses and horrific fielding, poor hitting, etc

Show me in this thread where that has been mentioned. How can I refute something that's not even being discussed?

That would be a .333 Winning Percentage. LSU currently has a .595 winning percentage in baseball. That's closer to 7-5 in football.

Nice try tho!

They don't use any type of logic. They just throw random stuff out there and think they are making a grand comparison.

Then they have some simple minded friends, who want to believe the nonsense they posted, so they run around constantly repeating it.

LSU currently has a .400 SEC winning percentage. That would correlate to a 3-5 SEC record in football which is .375 and would be on track for the 7-5 season I mentioned above.

The 4-8 season that I was responding to would probably correlate to 0-8 in the SEC and 4 cupcake wins or 1-7 in the SEC.

In other words the guy I was responding to who compared Jay this year to Saban going 4-8 at Alabama isn't remotely the same thing and greatly overexaggerated.

Now get back to me when this season is over. Using your numbers, we’re on pace to do much worse than your cherry picked best case scenario.

Which might I mention, is absolutely hilarious the mental gymnastics you’re performing to justify a SEC team that loses to a SWAC team.

I would agree with that. I would also argue that there isn't as much parity now either, so losing to these teams midweek isn't something to panic about.

Either way, I'm not ready to shite on the players or season just yet. They can still turn it around.

After winning it all with last year's team, I'm convinced JJ can do anything.

I don't see this team going on a 2024 type of late season run. We are more flawed this year - bad infield defense, poor defensive catching, tons of walks, lack of timely hitting, sketchy bullpen.

I'm not saying we 100% won't make the postseason, but it's not looking great and our schedule is about to get more difficult.

you are crying like JJ is les miles and his best is behind him like we knew he would never win shite again after 2011.

that would be fine........if that was the case. it is not. JJ will bounce back.

oh noz the program is in shambles

They will be playing this way for the remainder of the season. This may be Jay's worst assembled team.

Ole Miss had a losing record just 3 years ago. The year after winning a natty.

Ole Miss is the #13 RPI team right now, and is projected to be the #18 RPI team by the end of the season.

You really are baseball ignorant.

I'm pretty sure Skip's best teams made the postseason.

This one will not. Sadly. And I hope I'm wrong.

If it's "not acceptable", then what do you propose to do about it?

Same stupid shite we saw after getting swept by Auburn last year, then getting run ruled by Natchitoches High not long after.

The issues we have been seeing isn’t an odd game series or an off game. Thats baseball.

It’s been the entire season.

Shut the frick up
We were a preseason top 2 team to being a lower tier sec team this season is not being spoiled expectations are high, but to be this bad is a difference.

Well yeah.

A coach’s job and #1 goal is to spoil the fans.

Kelly did not accomplish that goal. Jay has accomplished that goal.

There’s having a down year and then there’s whatever the frick is going on right now. This shouldn’t happen with this coach. This shouldn’t happen with the amount of money poured into the program.

You dorks are so out of touch with reality when it comes to your expectations with baseball…

Serious question (which I doubt you’ll answer):

Have you ever played baseball before? At what age did you stop?

Let’s have a conversation about expectations

Yeah, it isn't working out as well as we were "projected". I remember aTm was supposed to be the Dodgers last year. We are going to make the post season and then it goes from there. Season is far from over.
