Something happened with him over the past month or so to have him go in this direction. His social media has essentially told you that. A quartet of Jackson, Holly, Williams, and Durham is pretty damn strong though. I'll be interested to see where he ends up.

I don’t think most people realize how much crap these coaches deal with when it comes to things like how many carries they are getting… I remember Darrell Williams HS coach saying that Frank Wilson would have a player and parent in his office every week of Fournette’s freshman year complaining to him.

I know the RB room is full, but this indicates that the staff evaluated him lower on the depth chart for next year. Does this mean that our most senior RB is a sophomore?

Jackson doesn't have the mental grasp of the position/system like Williams/Cain/Diggs yet.

This silver lining here is it make taking two RBs in the 2025 class appropriate. We already have Harlem Berry (no. 1 RB in the nation) committed. The other two RBs in the state of LSU interest are four star James Simon and three star D'Shaun Ford. Simon or Ford would be a nice 2025 addition with Harlem Berry.

I think what people mean is he had 99 carries through our first 6 games and then had just 20 the rest of the season, missing three games entirely. It was weird. He went from the 2nd leading rusher in the SEC at the midway point of the season to an afterthought

Players in bowl games have 5 full days after their game to enter the portal, so LSU players can enter until midnight on the 6th
