Maybe someone offered him a nice nil deal and Kelly declined.
They have some nice young backs with jackson and Durham coming in
I liked having Diggs next yr as the upperclassmen. He was great this yr. They should probably go get someone of his caliber jow.

He was good for us this year, no doubt but he’s not explosive. I think it’s pretty obvious that we will have several explosive backs on the roster next year.

It's a crowded backfield with Williams likely to return, Jackson being a clear difference making who is likely to get more carries, with Holly and Durham also on board.
Diggs only has one year of eligibility remaining and he probably wants to maximize it. With a healthy Williams and Jackson he was looking, at best, splitting the snaps 3 ways.

dudes been posting melodramatic stuff for a while on social media. we also barely saw him in the 2nd half of the year. it is what it is. he had some good games, but kaleb jackson is the future.

I figured he was going to the NFL, perhaps he's just gauging offers in the portal and will declare for the draft if he doesn't get what he wants.

The use of Kaleb Jackson was very weird this year. He had 6 less carries than Noah Cain and only 2 carries in the bowl game.
