Duke lawyer that has been pro NCAA, SEC, Tom Mars throughout all this......but not with that SEC lawsuit today.

Very surprised he changed his criticism

Well, leading into this, he/they are expressing personal opinions, that the players be denied.

Today, he is giving his professional opinion of the SEC's suit

No particular football athlete was brought up. Sankey did say he does not consider mini camp participation to be professional but he does consider training camp participation as making a football player a professional.

This is ridiculous.

no softball player has ever gotten any NIL. I find that hard to believe.

Maybe no nil available for her

What she said on the stand was that the coach has told them that there is no NIL available for softball and that her and her teammates all play for the love of the game.

She transferred from Oklahoma to LSU and did not get any NIL

I can tell you that Cheerleaders get zero

very little scholarship money

and it's a year round deal, people who don't know anythign about cheer, have no idea the amount of time they put into it...
they deserve at least a full scholarship

They have a coach
A trainer, they have early morning work outs, they are student athletes

so it's a shame the football guys generational wealth while others get zero

He doesn't know if G-leaguers are professional... but he KNOWS training camp attendees are.

Yes or no, do ANY nfl veterans participate in minicamp? If yes, then minicamp is “professional” Sankey has no argument.
