What is the contract the SEC refers to?
Is there a requirement to equally apply SEC rules and policy or does Sankey get to decide on how he feels?
Does the SEC get to only levy fines against schools, presidents and coaches they choose not based on rules and policy but based on something undefined?
This list is going to get long!

I doubt it is a rule because pro ball players overseas are recruited just like high schoolers and they cant seem to define what a pro is all of a sudden.

They didn’t take nearly enough time to research it that deeply. They slapped together a hastily, and poorly constructed, “clarification of the rules” and thought everyone would just fall in line.
Amusingly, the including going through the draft process as equally damning as signing a contract, but have already let several players who’d done just that resign with SEC programs. Proving their “clarification of the rules” isn’t even being applied evenly.
The level of incompetence shown by this group of people is a bit astounding.

As far as them being contacted at the NFL level, I'm not sure how it works but at the collegiate level you can contact agents just not direct contact players. Them being in camp might be against the rules. I don't know how that works at that level but then they'd have to prove it?
