They need to ask why the SEC decided to draw the professional line at “signing an NFL contract” and not making the final roster or practice squad. Many SEC schools have players who participated in minicamp, but for some reason signing any type of contract regardless of whether not the player made the final roster is the line in the sand. It’s completely arbitrary.
