Walking through the teams, it is a travesty to ever miss the tournament. Ever.
Not counting ULL, Texas State, Liberty... etc

A lot of bad teams make the tourney, even Milwaukee (25-31) who is one of two teams that LSU swept this year

Little Rock made the tournament as an auto bid. There’s a dozen worse teams that make the tourney every year as autobids.

I don't know if "Embarrassing" is the correct word, but it's certainly 
if you're an LSU Alumnus (Very Few on the Rant) or die-hard LSU fan that hates unexpected dysfunctional decline in any traditionally strong LSU Sport.
Sol Pumpers say it's all perfectly "Fine & Acceptable" though, because "3 Million Dollar Daddy Jay" WON 2 OF THE LAST 3 CWS."

Little teams and bad teams make the tourney every year when some notoriously really good power 4 programs don’t. Why is this embarrassing? You think LSU is going to look like this for the foreseeable future?

I don’t think that makes anyone a pumper. I think it’s perspective.
If next year isn’t vastly different I’ll be concerned.

And several other teams with losing records jumping up and down after being picked. Criteria for being involved in tournament should be a winning record; regardless if you win your shite conference. Simply not the best 64 teams, just like basketball (and they expanded this lunacy).
