I listened so you don’t have to. They are SUPREMELY confident.I’d say “ giddy “ is an appropriate word. More than Georgia, more than Bama, WAY more than us. It’s strange to listen to because they have ZERO doubt.

“ LSU has scholarship players too.”” they have guys that will play in the league on Sunday” . (Good to know)

“ If Florida State plays well they will win comfortably . If Florida State doesn’t play well they could still eke out a win. Because that’s what the talent level is and that goes for every game they play. There is nobody on our schedule that if both teams play well, Florida State is losing. If Florida State plays well Sunday night that means they are GOING to win.If they just play like we’ve seen all August, they are going to win this game. If this team plays well , it will beat LSU and it might beat LSU by multiple scores”

“ This team is good enough to play poorly and win, play average and win pretty big and play good and beat ANYBODY “.

Some other miscellaneous quotes :

“ You can tell the coaches are in love with this team.”

“ our team has improved more than LSU has”.

“After the game I think I will be saying - I think our wide receivers and quarterback are just too good . Told you. Told you this offense would be almost impossible to stop. That would be the headline “.

Then talking about glorious moments scoring against Louisville and other teams. “I hope they empty the clip against LSU. Throw our indefensible plays at LSU. Don’t need trick plays but don’t save automatic plays for Clemson. “

“ This team could have an all time special place in FSU history. “

Meanwhile, informed LSU fans are talking about little more than our perceived deficits and possible limitations and hoping it all comes together. The mood of the fan bases couldn’t be more different.

They needed trick plays to beat LSU last year.

Playing in the weakest ACC in the last 30 years will give you this kind of confidence.

Can you really blame them for being confident? They’re going to be a real good ball team regardless of who wins this game.

They going to find out soon enough who LSU is this year and wish they hadn't.

Florida State's fanbase is functionally retarded. I haven't seen any good discourse coming from them. They appear to have a great team and I think they will have a top 10 type season but they are far from invincible.

Hell, the last time we had a chance to see them play, we witnessed them in a shootout with 6-7 Oklahoma.

What is Florida State's glaring weakness?

They have no glaring weakness. If I were to choose one, I'd say linebackers, but it's hardly glaring.

They don't really have one. They have every right to not be afraid of an LSU team that still needs to go out and prove it. It's the beginning of our season now...I'm much more focused on what is going on in Baton Rouge than any of the teams we play. We just need to be better on Sunday. I'm pumped. Let's go.

I would argue their running defense may not be as worthy as it looks on the surface, and they should have similar concerns that we do in the secondary except their safeties are a notch below LSUs. Mason Taylor can be huge in this game.

Its pre-season when are coaches not in love with a team especially one with seniors. Doesn't mean anything.

Another spring/fall practice talking point that cant be measured against anything but every team says this.

Yeah but our secret playbook was actually awesome. Russell Shep's aerial attack and Trindon at Defensive End? Unstoppable.

Wow. Lots of supporting facts to backup those baseless claims. At least the guys yesterday tried to look at matchups.

Man I don't think we were this confident going into Texas in 2019 and that was with an all time team.

I can't wait to check back on them come Sept 24th when they are 2-2 after losing to us and Clemson. Its gonna be a hard fall from the perch they are sitting on.
