re: LSU OT Tyler Miller enters portal

So odd. This has to be a money play.
I also think you’re being a little harsh about the Clark kid. Your entire thesis is based on the fact that when he was 17 and 18 years old college recruiters and recruiting services did not notice him. He lacks the elite measurables. Those same recruiters labeled multiple busts as five star can’t miss prospects. It’s not an exact science. What Clark has done is show that playing at the collegiate level, he is a much better quarterback than anyone ever gave him credit for. Now at the age of 20, he is proving himself. I actually think that is more impressive than anybody’s high school recruiting rankings. I’d rather have him on the roster than Colin Hurley for example (who was a 4 star).

so, if this is the case, do you trust Lane's judgement and ability to field the best team possible? b/c it sounds like you are saying that he purposefully didn't do that, at least until injury forced him to roll with Chambliss...
I’m not going that far. Just saying that even if Chambliss was better in camp he would have to be heads and shoulders better given the investment in Simmons. Simmons is a good QB.

he did, and he WON the starting QB spot, over Chambliss, to enter the year..
They were spending millions on Simmons and peanuts on Chambliss. Simmons got every benefit of the doubt.

Consider this 4 nights with Kiffin and he still hasn’t signed. He’s not
Correct. He will sign with Miami. He will miss the playoffs. We will not.

It’s never happened. And…so far…still hasn’t happened

He’s Tenner’s backup C right? Their DJ Chester?
re: Lagway AND Deuce visiting Ole Miss Saturday

Lagway should stay at Baylor, and develop.
Yall are silly. It’s a top 10 stadium in college football.
I am utterly SHOCKED they didn’t have some promo on the screens for him. That made it seem really sterile.

Shea implying it’s our qb
Lacy has to be reconsidering

I admire the loyalty but he shouldn’t let the excitement of a playoff push cause him to make a detrimental decision objectively.
Chambliss is not going to be there
Lane is not going to be there
Charlie Weis is not going to be there.
Kevin Smith is not going to be there.
Frank Wilson is going to be your position coach.
You are going to go 7-5.

That’s so great!

Just wait. Chambliss and Lacey will be here at the start of Feb. book mark it
Anyone probably advising them will tell them the same thing. Ole Miss will be a borderline bowl team next year. Anyone decent who stays will only hurt their own draft stock.

Lacy and Chambliss (if he doesn’t declare) are idiots if they stay. This was Ole Miss’s 2019 team. Next year will be their 2020 team. Both those guys will tank in the draft as a result. They need to make a “business decision” now that there is no emotional reason not to do
So.
So.
re: Ole Miss Lost Because of Pete Golding

It definitely allowed them to run the ball on the first play after the timeout. Which was crucial. Pete Golding is not an elite coach. We have the elite coaches from the staff. I hope Ole Miss enjoyed their run. But it’s back to reality for those fricksticks.
frick Pete
Ole Miss Lost Because of Pete Golding
Posted by ROPO on 1/8/26 at 10:29 pm
Pete was the defensive coordinator for the Ole Miss rebels. The defense absolutely let them down at the end of this game. Lane and Charlie Weis were the offensive masterminds of this team. The offense equipped itself well. The defense was dog shite. Ole Miss has relegated itself to having the dog shite coach be their head coach for the foreseeable future. They will go back to being a 6-6 middling SEC team.
If Chambliss and Lacy stay, they are morons. Ole Miss is done.
