Aldi makes people do this also. Either pay for their bags or bring your own. All to save $10 on weird arse brand of food.

Why isn't it included in the cost of the food?

We once had baggers

then we terminated their positions

then went to self check out

and now bags are extra cost in the state of Lousiana?

FYI, it's a law in Cali that stores must charge .10 cents per bag

Stores get fined if they don't charge you, and the only people who are exempt are those who receive food stamps

it’s an easy way to promote people bringing their own bags to cut down on senseless waste. i get people being upset about shite paper straws, but this seems simple

I feel the same way as coach. Paying for bags is dumb. They should just offer paper bags.
