This entire thread is proof that the late 1960s and early 1970s was the greatest period in history to be a young person … providing you didn’t end up in Vietnam of course

At LSU from '68 to '74. And yes those were the days! The thread mentions a few local bands, one more favorite was the Copas Bros. Steve Stills opened the PMAC, followed by Jethro Tull but the apex was Pink Floyd a couple of years later. And 2am, no problem, the Country Place on Hwy 30 open all night.

And since this is a sports board, yeah,we had Pistol Pete and Bert Jones vs Archie Manning! Good days indeed! :geauxtigers:
Late 60's there was a nightclub there....remember seeing Steppenwolf & Grand Funk together!
Yep, hang out with the ICE guys
Kelly to Penn State, Kiffin to LSU! And no, I won't put down the pipe, lol!

Only if he keeps his Christian beliefs to himself! From news:

"A Seattle pastor is speaking out after violent protests engulfed a worship event earlier in May and persisted in a follow-up event on Tuesday outside City Hall.

Organizers hosted a Mayday USA rally at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle on Saturday, which The Pursuit NW Pastor Russell Johnson helped lead. The event reportedly offered free haircuts, free bike giveaways and free groceries for the community as well as time for prayer and worship.

The event was later "swarmed" by protesters, some of whom reportedly threw urine-filled water balloons at attendees, and more than 20 arrests were made."

And when the ball hits an umpire the umps should have the ability/discretion to award an extra base

This! Cost us a run, and could have cost us the game. Runner would have easily made 2nd and scored on the following hit Rule should be reviewed...umps have a lot of discretion on other plays, like 2nd base slide :geauxtigers:
Looks drunk and gay?! :moon:
The spin rate of the average major league fast ball is.....damn Ben, can't remember that one :banghead:, but Anderson's is better!
Iowa!

And even tho I give CC credit for her ability, if I was the LSU AD, I would give every LSU fan in Albany a t-shirt with a picture of Pete Maravich on it, and on the back a comparison of their average stats (3 vs. 4 yrs., no 3 pt.line etc) and it's not even close..still pisses me off the press that got.

Get in CC's head lol :doublebird:

The announcing team of Ben McDonald, David Delucci and Seth Rogan was entertaining as well.

Time to put those Wildpusses behind us and get ready for the reigning champs next week with this bit of Mark Laird infamy, who actually caught the foul ball around the Rebel batgirl
