On Fox News, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry says it’s “extremely dangerous for Greg Sankey” and the SEC to continue threatening LSU and added that 15 SEC schools are public universities that “do not get First Amendment rights,” something the league used to sue LSU in federal court. That doctrine has not been tested in this situation. It never was presented to the court in the Big XII vs Texas Tech case and it looks like SEC vs LSU will be dismissed before that court has a chance to speak on it. So who knows.

Landry can do whatever he wants behind the scenes but he needs to stop his poor man’s Trump act when it comes to getting us into contests of brinkmanship with the SEC.

I like the leadership by Landry, Johnson, Kennedy, Scalise, Rouse, Verge, and Lane.
