What was going at the tailgate on lawn of south side of the Miller lake would have gotten frats shut down. I know weed is a bit different now a days than even 5 years ago but still, it was a shite show over there.

Years past there has hardly been more than a few tailgates in the lawn. Usually around the tree line.
It was spilling on the the sidewalks and street. Whole lawn was full.
The ag center lot is free parking so the obvious fix is just turn that into a pay lot, which sucks but that will deter people

That was my tailgate spot for a decade plus, 2005ish up to Covid. We had a group of 5-10 families that would hang out there, all with young kids. It was a great setup, they could run around the big field, we had plenty of room to throw around the frisbee, football, etc. Moms would usually pack up and take the kids home, dads would head to the game, it was a really good time.
Kids have all grown up and are now HS seniors or college students, and we no longer make the games, so I hadn't seen it for a while. Walked past there for the FL game, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It's like somebody picked up the seediest inner city Chicago club crowd you can find and dropped them straight onto campus.

That's still my go to easy-button parking situation. They convert that to pay, I've probably made my last game
