re: Kim Mulkey on why Angel wasn't at the game

Angel ego is the reason why she not with the team. Some of the new incoming talent isn’t getting along with each other as planned. There is fighting at practice and now players parents are going at each other now. This could be very interesting as the season goes on.

She probably got cocky, ran her mouth complained about something and mulkey is not letting her be a princess. Making her earn everything

Maybe it wasn’t a fight, but an altercation between Reece and multiple teammates has happened in the locker rooms during games and during practice. Angel and her mother have been feuding with multiple players and parents. You have other players parents insulting and belittling other players on the team and it’s not sitting well with current and former players. Even former players from last years team is 100% supporting Mulkey and does not agree with what Angel is doing and has done.

JOHNSON didn’t ever touch the court after starting the previous two games. Then all of sudden she is back for Kent State and she coming off the bench and Reese gets benched in 2nd half when LSU is down going into halftime 39-37. Johnson is now coming off the bench now, but playing big minutes.

Mikaylah Williams is also another player that is getting a lot of the attention on the team and Reese isn’t gelling well with her. In fact Reese does not like the game plane of the offense having Williams more involved than Reese is.
Reese is not liking her role with in the offense. Since the Colorado game she has seen her minutes get reduced while other teammates minutes are increasing. Here is the break down of Reese playing time.
Game 1 - 30 mins; 2 players had more mins
Game2- 25 mins; 1 player had more mins
Game3- 20 mins; 5 players had more mins
Game4- 14 mins; 6 players had more mins
Game5- wasn’t with the team at all.

Reese is a great player with a big EGO. She is most likely one of the top 5 players in WBB this year. But her swagger and attitude she has been playing with doesn’t sit well with people. It didn’t sit well with people last year, but when you win everyone looks over it. Now they have done lost a game and it didn’t take long for issues to start showing and Egos start clashing.

My honest opinion on this is, I think Angel will be back at some point, but I wouldn’t be surprised either if she sat out this entire year and entered the WNBA draft. I would actually be more surprised if she came back and played, than I would if she didn’t.

besides the obvious reasons for Mulkey not airing the team's dirty laundry like it's not their business ect there's also the axiom the less everybody knows the better. it allows you greater flexibility in dealing with it and with other players in the future
