The bad news for them is they informed us the players we took from them all suck

Golding knows Kiffin's offense and his tendency as well. He likely knows what can slow it down and will be watching that LATech game to get some ideas there as well.
It's going to be a great game. QBs can't make mistakes. Currently I would feel better with TC as QB, but I feel better about our defense.
SL needs to just take care of ball and get the ball out quick.

Kiffin is going to run the offense that best suits his personnel. our personnel is not the same as last year so I expect it to be different.

Also Golding isn't familiar with our athletes the same way Lane and Wies are with Ole miss players

Yeah but Pete Golding is a drunk bastard.
I'm not sure what his teams look like going forward. I think he's still flying high riding the coattail of Lane and Charlie. With the remaining players that Kiffin and Charlie found and developed. When he has to make his own way. I think his ineptness will be very evident.
Lets be honest. Ole Miss are fricking cheaters. Using a player that the NCAA has deemed Ineligible. They should have this entire season vacated. It's the only reason they have any hope. Is because they got a Mississippi judge to grant Lanes guy another year.
They're cheating pieces of shite.

Hopefully it will be like John Gruden's first year in Tampa Bay when the previous years he had coached for the Raiders, and Tampa blew them out in the Super Bowl.

Golding and his defensive staff knows Kiffins offense and vice versa, that’s all I’m saying. I’m sure both sides (LSU O and OM D) will have some new wrinkles that they haven’t shown thus far. I think my comment was over the head of some that downvoted.

I think LSU D will drum OM O and we win by fiffy.
My comment wasn’t to say who will have more intel on the other; only that just as Lane knows Goldings D, Golding also knows Lanes O. I’m sure both will have adds, miskeys, and traps (sets that used to result in one play, that will result in an entirely different play this year).

Ole Miss' strong suit is their offense (primarily Chambliss) of which Lane and Charlie know very well. Apparently, defense does not seem to be their strongest asset. Our defense should match up well given our players and Baker, Lane and Charlie so we get an advantage there. Don't rule out their kicker in a close game (especially with last week's trouble in the red zone for us).

His value was his great relationship among the HS football community/players in Nola. He still has those relationships. But relationships alone aren't getting players to college anymore. Even for HS players from Nola it is a contract negotiation at any school. Plus, even you leverage your relationships to sign a kid out of HS that is just a one year commitment. He'll attempt to renegotiate his contract after that 1st year.

This true... but I think kiffin and Weis are going to frick with Golding.
Weis/Kiffin know, "when we get in THIS set, Pete will expect, us to do THIS..."
There will be times (probably early in the game) that they do exactly what he thinks and see if OM can stop it. Then they will flip it on them.
They will show a similar look, and motion, and then go the opposite way and catch he Defense off guard.. I think mid second quarter, Pete is gonna lose it.

And on3 made a point yesterday, who would you trust more to explore a system they already know...kiffin or golfing? That choice is obvious to anyone not in Oxford
