I’ve watched hundreds of CFB games and probably been to 50-60 live and have never once got this impression
I think you just wanted to use the ‘main character’ cliche

I never said they did a search to replace Jones. I said they did a nationwide search to find the Assistant Director who they then promoted to Director after Jones was ousted

The problem is a lot of drum majors don't know a football from a hole in their arse. Tiger Band was all over the place.

That sounds about par for the course.
Tiger band is a shell of its former self. Frank and Linda would be mortified at what it's become.

I’d just be happy if the band could march in straight lines for the pregame. I still can’t figure out how that gets screwed up every game.

He was clearly frustrated with the band and the first down song. He wants it quiet so his players can hear. I wonder what he’s gonna do about it.

the band was struggling to keep up with Lane's offensive temp...did the wrong cheer multiple times.
