TreyDez is probably the one who needed to play and get the rust off before the two week break and Bama.

Lane said in presser that they had to get him out because Auburn was trying to hip drop tackle him. I noticed during the game they were trying to do it to Jones too

There is a fine line. I do agree that most only look at final score so don't let up. Don't take completely unnecessary risks, but don't give easy points up either. At some point though, just lace up your cleats and play football. Injuries happen.

Auburn is, and always has been, a dirty team.

Agree 100%… I mentioned this earlier and got trashed.. and it’s not only injury.. backups never get in.. when needed , you’re at square one ..

If you think this, you are not watching the whole game. Kiffin plays backups during the game to promote depth and let his starters be more fresh at the end of the game. He’s been doing this all season especially across the lines of scrimmage.

This gives his depth players meaningful snaps with the game on the line.

There is a reason he plays them later in games even in blowouts. Something about conditioning for an entire game, but I don't know exactly.

I'm still waiting to learn what the injury is.

I get he wishes he had Whit and Green for those however many games, I wish we did too. But his constant public harping on it is disappointing to me, wish he'd step it down a notch or two.

If a coach on another team was doing the same he'd be getting eviscerated here.

LSU has pulled their starters in exactly every single game we have won this year. Pulling starters too early will be the quickest way to watch teams unnecessarily make it closer than it needs to be. Relax…

Lane is being honest. Not coach speak “next man up” crap you hear en masse. The guy had glue guys get knocked out early on and it affects everything and everyone around them. I’m ok with him talking about it- he’s not doing the woe is me stuff, he’s giving an honest assessment of the effects of losing your best guys on both sides of the ball.

If we had Weeks and Green we would have beaten Kentucky

Touche' - I kinda took it a bit woe is me - only because he's constantly harping on it.....but I realize most will give him slack for this, and I expected to get downvoted for my take on it - I get that too, but I still wish he'd turn it down a notch.

Did you account for every play, especially in the 2nd half? How often did starters get a play or series off?

Even when LSU wins…..

Kiffin has played the backups more and earlier in games than any previous coach that I can remember.
